Dr Chinea Eziefula

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Eziefula completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry at Kings College London in 2012.  She has 10 years of experience working for the NHS and has experience coordinating health research.  Dr Eziefula currently works with children, adults, couples and families. She is head of the haematology psychology department at the Whittington Health NHS Trust and is long-term conditions lead in the primary care psychology service in Camden (iCope). She is also a guest lecturer at University College London for post-graduate training in psychological approaches and has co-facilitated training in psychological approaches for healthcare professionals.  Dr Eziefula specialises in helping people who are living with physical health problems, as well as supporting people who are interested in improving self-esteem and enhancing confidence in order to achieve personal or career-oriented goals. She also has an interest in working with clients who are experiencing relationship distress and has additional training in Behavioural Couples Therapy (BCT). She works using a range of psychological models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and systemic approaches and offers individual consultations, workshops and group-interventions as a trainer for C&I Wellbeing.
